Recycle your mobile phone and raise money for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Charity
Corporate Mobile Recycling Ltd (CMR) and Tradehouse (Elland) Ltd are working in partnership with Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance on a mobile phone recycling initiative in the counties.
For each re-cycled mobile phone, the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance charity receives a minimum of £6 - and up to £25 depending on the make and model.
Nicola Howkins, Operations Director of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, said, " This new fundraising initiative is set to make many thousands of pounds for the charity. Not only is this a 'green' project, which makes use of old mobile telephones in the Developing World, but it is an easy way to raise funds for this vital, life saving service, a service which none of us know when we may need. "
This new scheme is another part of the project by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance to raise money from recycling activities. Income is already being generated from recycling clothing and shoes.
