Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council Air Ambulance Recycling Banks
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council have rolled out 11 textile recycling banks to support the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
By simply taking discarded clothes to the new textile banks Basingstoke and Deane residents can not only help towards the vital fund raising needed for this air ambulance, but also do their bit for the environment by recycling their old clothes.

More Air Ambulance Recycling Banks in Southampton
Southampton City Council is working together with the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Charity to urge local residents to recycle their unwanted textiles and shoes and help save lives.
There are now 33 textile banks across the city, rolled out in conjunction with Air Ambulance recycling partner Tradehouse (Elland ) Ltd.
You can also recycle your old mobile phone and raise on average £6.00 for the Air Ambulance Charity.

Watch Out!
East Anglian Air Ambulance has issued a warning about invoices allegedly for advertising with the "Air Ambulance" which, as far as they are aware, have nothing to do with their operation.

Clothes Recycling Banks Launched

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance Charity launched its clothes, shoes and textiles recycling scheme today at Morrison's supermarket in Totton.
To start, there will be seventy yellow recycling banks at supermarkets and pubs across the two counties each bearing the charity's helicopter logo. More will be rolled out over the coming months.
Cash raised from recycling will help the charity reach its monthly £65000 target needed to get and keep its helicopter operational.

Ventnor Social Club Sponsored Bike Ride
Ventnor Social Club raised over £3000 for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance in a sponsored bike ride this month.
Notable recognition goes to Lisa Halliday who raised over £700 on her own, and Mark Blanchard who, with the support of Barclays Bank, raised £750.
